Rotary Auction Item

The Haverhill Rotary Auction is shaping up with some interesting
items for everyone to bid on. Rotarians are asked to bring in their
items this week. Remember this is our major fund raiser. Your help
is needed and appreciated. The TV Auction is Wednesday April 18th on
local cable station 22 and the live auction and dinner is Friday
evening 8:00PM April 20th at The Haverhill Country Club. Tickets
are $30.00 each or $275.00 for a table of 10. Get your group of
big spenders together and reserve your table soon.

What a wonderful warm welcome home I received from everyone
at the club on March 1st! Thank you so much for the flowers. I am
currently reviewing all the pictures from India and am putting
together a presentation to deliver to the club in April. Thank you
again for all your support.
As I write this piece,
President-Elect, Vince Bonanno is being indoctrinated and learning
the "ins" and "outs" of being a Rotary President at PETS. This week
marks my official countdown as president. Wow, it's going fast. But,
we still have a way to go before we bring a close to this Rotary
year. Our biggest fundraiser is less than four weeks away. Already,
Rotarians have donated fabulous gifts for the auction ie: African
Safari; vacation condo in Florida; River cruise and dinner; Red Sox
tickets; golf outings and more! Now is the time to keep those gifts
coming. The auction committee will be undertaking the task (and it
is quite a task) of assigning each item a placement at either the TV
auction or the LIVE Event at the country club. Thank you to all who
are working so hard to make the auction possible!
