Hi Tim,

On June 28th I was installed with many other folks from District 7930 as President of our respective clubs. My deepest appreciation to Darlene in passing a well oiled torch. Our club is truly in good hands of which there are too many to name in this letter.

Notes from first 6 weeks:
The board will meet at my office the last Wednesday of each month. Next meeting is 8/29 at 8am. Thanks to Ron Albert, Ken Smith, and Jefferson Davis for there participation in PPP (Past Presidents Presiding). Thanks to Bernie and gang for cleaning up the cemetery and spreading the good word of Haverhill Rotary.

We are sponsoring a Youth Exchange Student from Italia. The Bonanno family will have the first few days and hand off to Paul Bergman and family...Thanks Paul and Ann Marie.

Remember community meals if your name was called. We need volunteers for the Tatersall event in September. See Kathy B to sign up. Thanks to the current Board for already organizing the fall and spring fundraisers. We have received or will receive two checks to the Rotary Foundation, I have given out Noise canceling headsets in advance on the honor system.

Jim Jajuga is the new President and CEO of the Haverhill Chamber and hopefully a new member of our club. I'm sure I may have left some folks out of the current news, please accept this as partial memory loss and go easy on the new Pres.

Marlene Yeo spoke to us about Somebody Cares New England. We all enjoyed the video presentation that accompanied her presentation.
