Financial Turbulence and the Federal Reserve's
Response Michael J. Carter, Ph.D
Michael J. Carter will be speaking to us this week about how the
Federal Open Market Committee (FMOC) has responded to the current
turbulence in our financial markets. Michael received his Bachelor
of Arts from Yale University, Master of Arts and Doctor of
Philosophy degrees in economics from Stanford University and is
currently the economic's department chair at The University of

Rosaleen Doherty spoke to us last week about how her company,
Right at Home, assists elders and handicapped people remain at home
and receive necessary services. Her company offers a variety of
different services that differ from visiting nurses and can be a
crucial element in allowing patients to remain more
