President’s Message

Fellow Rotarians,

Little Victories

As with any service organization we like to look at the big picture when we plan for the forthcoming year in order to breathe life into big events that will be the driving force in our efforts to support our goal of community service. These visions are important and have resulted in successful past ventures like auctions, the Duck Races, and other key promotions. But campaigns come and go and often, hidden between the high profile fund-raising and grant-making occasions, are the everyday calls for assistance that might otherwise go unnoticed if not for our capacity to identify and lend support to worthy needs. When we respond to these appeals in typically rapid fashion, I like to label them “Little Victories.”  So….

Congratulations Rotarians for making a difference to the Cogswell Art Space

For helping the Discovery Club’s dreams come true with the Butterfly Garden

For your awesome participation on National Night Out at Swazey Field helping the Haverhill Police celebrate community outreach in the Mt. Washington neighborhood

For offering a warm meal and a warm smile to our neighbors at the Citizens Center

Because we will help sponsor the Haverhill YWCA’s 27th Tribute to Women
