Teens Discover the Possibility of Financial Freedom

Are we educating teenagers to dream their biggest dreams and then make them come true?" asks a local high school teacher, Jill Suskind. "For example, do teenagers know how to organize and think about money so it will grow and work for them?" Suskind has discovered in her high school classroom that teens WANT this education. Together in class, they've learned that dispelling limiting beliefs about money frees young people to be excited about creating their future successes in all areas of school and life. Suskind's students are reading and writing about making money work. Her colleagues find them bringing new found energy, optimism, and power to all areas of school and life. Jill Suskind of Wealthquest for Teens will be our speaker this week.

Voting this week for Lunch Meeting Place
This week, during our meeting at the Northern Essex Community College Tech Center, we'll vote regarding our weekly meeting place for at least the next three months. The choices are Evenfall Restaurant in Ward Hill or Bradford Country Club in Bradford.
Each member will receive a ballot when they check in with Pam on Thursday. After they have made their choice, they should return their ballot to Pam and be checked back in as having cast their ballot. Absentee ballots can be cast in several different ways:
Email Pam at pcarr@cityofhaverhill.com
USPS mail to: Pam Carr, 58 Atlanta Street, Haverhill, MA 01832
Empower one fellow club member who will be at the meeting to vote for you
Call and leave a message with your vote at 978-420-3715 (not the best choice)
All absentee ballots other than one cast by a fellow club member for you at the meeting, must be received by Pam no later than 10:00 on Thursday, January 17, 2008. Please remember to indicate who is voting if you send your choice by regular mail or when leaving a voicemail. The tally will be announced by the close of the meeting this Thursday. Barring anything unexpected we'll meet at the selected site next Thursday.
