The Nairator

Down with Casino Gambling

Les Bernal

"And of all the ways government can raise money, casino gambling is one of the worst."
Les Bernal will speak this week on the dark side of casino gambling and why states should not deploy this type of revenue generating activity. I bet this will be an interesting topic!

January 30, 2009

Traveling Rotarian Bernie Clohisy just got back from Boothbay and wanted to pass along bit of Rotary interest. The owner of Garver hardware located in village is a gentleman named Bob Garver who is President of Boothbay Rotary. Directly across the street is Rotary symbol where club meets. I'm sure Bernie will have at least one happy dollar for getting his picture in the Nairator again.

Smile

For those who can't remember the words:
Smile and the world smiles with you, Sing a song.
Don't be weary, Just be cheery all day long.
Whenever your trials, Your troubles and your cares
