Under the watchful eye and direction of Ingaldsby's Farm Gordon Price in Boxford, Bill Klueber & Bernie Clohisy prepare to feed the animals "Christmas" dinner on Christmas Eve. Bill had to speak to the donkey regarding table manners! Yet another fine example of Service above Self.

BUILDING #19
Belonging to the Haverhill Rotary Club brings satisfaction for the work that we do. We also have a pretty good time at our noon meetings. We seem to have some really good speakers at our meetings too. Would I name a most favorite? Perhaps not, but one of my all time favorites was Jerry Ellis founder of the stores called Building # 19 and Building #19 and a different fraction for each of those that opened after the first store.
Jerry Ellis came to the Haverhill Rotary Club and spoke to us at one time. He was just a relaxed and interesting guy. His first location was down in Hingham, Massachusetts in a building in a cluster of other like buildings at the Hingham Shipyard. The building that he opened had a number 19 on it. Good enough for him (and saving an expense for a new sign). So he left it and used the 19 in store's names for those stores that came later.
There are quite a few Building #19s, with a fraction, in New England now. Not only do usually find bargains at these stores but you may be amused with signs such as: "Wipe Your Feet Before You Go Out" and others like it. I'm sure that this man takes himself seriously but it doesn't usually show.
I count him as one of our best speakers and I'm glad that he came to the Haverhill Rotary Club that day.
Visit his store and you might be entertained and also may find something good to buy. I still have a sports jacket that I got there that fits perfectly, still looks good and I like it. I didn't pay much for it either.
So thanks to Jerry Ellis and my natural good looks you have me every week.
