Merrimack Valley Hospice House

Thursday's speaker will be Joan Stygles Hull, President and CEO of the Home Health Foundation Family of Agencies which includes Home Health VNA, HomeCare, Inc. and Merrimack Valley Hospice. The three agencies serve over 80 communities in Southern New Hampshire and the Merrimack Valley. Joan will speak to us about her organization's campaign for a Merrimack Valley Hospice House. It will be located in Haverhill on a 39 acre parcel of land off North Avenue near Plaistow. The estimated cost of the project is $8.5 million. Rotarians Support Penacook Place
Penacook Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center honored the George C. Wadleigh Foundation and the Griffin-White Foundation with the 2008 Outstanding Service to Seniors Award at its fourth annual awards dinner and silent auction last Saturday evening at The Haverhill Country Club.
