President's Message
Dear Rotarians,
My special thanks to all of you who attended last week's installation and for your warm welcome to my wife Meryl, who was especially impressed with the spirit, fellowship and camaraderie of our Club. We have a strong foundation for future successes, and I hope to be able to build on that foundation as we move ahead with the duck race as well as the implementation of changes to positively impact our Club.
For my first meeting this Thursday (remember: no meeting next week on July 8), I plan on discussing the results of the membership survey, so please send in your comments so that my presentation can be as comprehensive as possible.
On July 14, our Board of Directors will be meeting to discuss the survey results and develop an action plan for items of mutual concern. I look forward to working closely with our Board and encourage the members to communicate with me and other members of the Board (Ira Korinow, Sheryl Meehan, Steve Goddu, Bonnie Michaleas, Bill Klueber, Frank Novak, Chuck Marvin, and Jean Poth).
Please make note of how you may communicate with me:
508-361-4799 cell phone
(the best way - as an old fashioned guy, I prefer talk to email.)
978-374-0707 Main number at PENACOOK PLACE

Thanks in advance for your support and participation!
Julian

July 3rd Volunteers Needed
Volunteers sought for Saturday July 3rd to help with Duck Race promotion and sales at the Haverhill Fireworks, from morning set-up, through the day to evening takedown. A pick-up truck or van at both ends of the day is essential, as are 4 plus table volunteers and Quacky costume volunteers throughout the day. This was our most active and productive sales and visibility event of all last year. ASAP, please email
John Cuneo or you if you'd prefer call him at 978 994 2214 if you can spare a couple of hours or more. Volunteers from among the companies of Rotarians and from non-profits supported by Rotary are ALL welcome.
Storage of Quacky Costume
Quacky needs a safe and comfortable home! When Quacky is not out and about, s/he needs a safe and hospitable place to rest up. It must be 4' X 4' X 4', dry, not super hot, safe from mice and squirrels, secure from theft but reasonably accessible for quick and easy use during promotional events. Do you have such a spot for a loveable big duck? Please contact John Cuneo.
